Few hours to the fourth historical tour of Rwanda scheduled to kick off this Sunday 18th November 2012, the teams are ready, the breath is cycling now, the Rwandans know about it and ready for action and as a way of making it known beyond borders, a press conference was organized this Thursday chaired by the Cycling federation president Mr. Aimable Bayingana and the General coordinator of this tour Mr. Olivier Grandjean, The responsible in charge of marketing Mr. Jean Claude HERAULT plus the members of the press.
Since 2009, the Tour of Rwanda is growing at an exciting rate since UCI recognized it in its competition calendar, this is for all to see, and less to deny as it’s in glass and transparent as the word mean, confirms the Federation president.
If you look at the players who participate in it, teams which turn up for the tour, the organization of the tour is growing up at a rapid rate and with signs that the future is bright and with light at the end of the tunnel.
The Federation president explained to the press all that they asked about the tour, and with the assistance of the organizing committee members, all was laid down in terms of explanations to all questions in the room especially the route of the tour.
The route of the tour was explained by Mr. Jean Claude HERAULT and the security system put in place to ensure the safety of everyone in the Tour.
It’s a sport for all to enjoy, the riders, the fans and all sports lovers in the country and beyond.
