Tour of Rwanda organisers announced the final list of 16 teams which will take part in this year’s race, which begins on November 16 and runs through the 23rd.
Each team comprises five riders, meaning 80 cyclists representing 14 countries (including Rwanda) and 5 continents,will line-up in Kigali on November 16.
The peloton will include three Rwandan teams, Akagera, Karisimbi and Muhabura.
Newcomers Scody Downunder of Australia and regular participants Novo Nordisk Development were included along with French formation Haute Savoie and German team Bike Aid.
The 16 teams competing in the 2014 Tour of Rwanda are:
Rwanda Akagera - Rwanda Karisimbi - Rwanda Muhabura - South Africa - Kenya - Eritrea - Ethiopia - Algerie - Maroc - Cameroun - Gabon - Novo Nordisk Development Team (USA) - Haute Savoie (France) – Team Bike Aid (Germany) - Loup Sport ( Switzerland) - Team Scody Downunder (Australia).
